This free personality test was inspired by the original works of psychiatrist Carl Jung and later the temperament test system created by Katharine Briggs and Isabel Myers known as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI test®).
The typology system used in both the MBTI test® and this Jung personality test is defined by eight main differences between people:
- How they focus their attention or get their energy (extraversion or introversion)
- How they perceive or take in information (sensing or intuition)
- How they prefer to make decisions (thinking or feeling)
- How they orient themselves to the external world (judgment or perception)
When these elements are combined, there are 16 unique personality types that define our behaviors, skills, and attitudes towards life.
Each of the 16 personalities has its own potential strengths as well as areas that offer opportunities for growth.
It’s also possible for your personality type to change throughout time as you grow and mature along with your experiences.
Take our free temperament test to discover your unique personality type.
Please note that this free personality test was created for fun only and is inspired by Jung’s work and the original MBTI test®.
However, of every free personality test online, you’ll find this one to be refreshingly short and simple!

Well, you called out my inner INTJ; but I’m an INFJ, lol. I just have a very STRONG 50/50 split on thinking/feeling.
I’m a INFP. And it’s on point. I have taken this test a few times in Sociology and leaned heavily mainly towards INFP each time. Quite interesting and I suppose I must be at this point. I have taken this and at different times each day and in different moods. So it must fit. Love this website and love the excellent insights and self help/healing/discovery/love.
ISTJs are quiet and reserved individuals who are interested in security and peaceful living. – 100% me!
Takes pleasure in making everything orderly and organized including their work, their home and their lives. Value traditions and loyalty. – again, 100% me, which makes my desire to create and be artistic, quite a struggle! ha
I got INFJ and was suuuuuuper excited to read about how rare a personality it is…sort of confirms my feeling of never being able to relate to anyone on a deeper level. It also saves my sanity…Ive always had the ability to understand but never be understood and i thought i was going crazy. And im very happy to be validated on my insanely accurate intuition…Ive been accused of lying and spying and and called a freak when sharing my intuition with others, now i can say i just feel it without feeling stupid and trust that im not just telling myself lies but tuning in on the truth. Thank you cant wait to find out more and be able to know/like/trust who i am.
I’ve taken the Myers-Briggs in a clinical setting. There’s no way a twenty question quiz can cover the ground the MBTI. I’m going to take it anyway to hopefully prove myself incorrect.
I’m a INFP
I REALLY COULD DO WITH FINDING SOME MORE INFP’s
Feel alien when nobody seems to understand me
Namaste
I’m INFP too… And I love same personality people… Atleast they can relate with me completely.. My best friend is also INFP
Short, but accurate take on the MBTI. My result was INTJ, which was not a surprise at all. I really like that you have made the test fairly short, but still retained a high validity. This test is recommended for people who want to have a fast and accurate assessment to determine their personality type.
ENTP!!! I am admittedly an ambivert. The other three letters are a little more pronounced. I agree with the personality type description ~85-95%. I guess the goal is to become progressively more balanced among all polarities, known or otherwise.
