It was thanks to Pythagoras’ discoveries about the world that the ancient system of Numerology was developed. Some scholars even believe that Numerology pre-dates Pythagoras and derives from the ancient mystical Hebrew Kabbalah which is thousands of years old.

11 11 and the Spiritual Awakening Journey
Seeing repetitive numbers like 1111 is a form of synchronicity (or a meaningful coincidence) – it can be thought of as a wake-up call; a cry from your deeper Self to pay attention and be present.
In this way, we can see 11 11 as something of a meditation bell: you are being asked to tune into the present moment and the love/guidance that is always available to you. You are being asked to engage more deeply in the mystery and wonder of existence, understanding that there is an Intelligence much greater than yours at play.
Seeing 11 11, or any repetitive number for that matter is, therefore, an intrinsic part of the spiritual awakening process.
Not only does it instill a sense of curiosity and awe within us, but it makes us pause, stop, and question. Momentarily, we exit the asleep and trancelike (or samsaric) mode of living and access a more mindful way of being.
Therefore, if you keep seeing 11 11, you are probably undergoing a spiritual awakening process.

What Do I Do After Seeing 11 11?
As your consciousness expands, you’ll find yourself seeing numbers such as 11 11 more and more often. These instances are known as synchronicity because you are in the divine flow of life. Personally, I would see 11 11 and other repetitive numbers sometimes four or five times a day as I began to experience a spiritual awakening. All of these numbers seemed to anchor me into the present moment and the truth I was experiencing. I would always feel more grounded and lovingly guided during these periods, knowing that there was “something happening” beyond the veil of physical reality.
In order to make the most of seeing his unusual and powerful number, you might like to adopt a few practices:

Ask yourself, “What does 11 11 signify to me?” In other words, when you see this number, how do you feel or what thoughts arise in your head? Your 11 11 meaning will often vary each time you see it. You might like to practice mindfulness, deep breathing, meditation, or other grounding practices to help you stay centered. The more present you can be, the more you will be available for growth. When you don’t stay grounded, you might miss the message that is being offered to you.
4. Show gratitude
Life responds positively to gratitude. Even the simplest act of giving thanks for what you have and the guidance you’re receiving uplifts your spirit immediately. Being grateful opens the heart, and when your heart is open, it is ready to expand. As a result, gratitude helps you to integrate the messages and lessons of 11 11.

5. Ask for guidance when needed
All of us, no matter who we are or what period of life we’re in, need help. If you need advice or help, reach out to someone you trust. Speak with a close friend, family member, spirit guide, or, best of all, your own Soul. One of the simplest but most effective ways to receive guidance, in my experience, is by saying a prayer. Address your prayer to whomever or whatever you believe in, whether that be God, Goddess, Allah, Krishna, Life, or Spirit. I prefer to address my prayers to my Soul. Seeing 11 11 is often a sign that you need to reach out for support and connection.

Our youngest child a son born 11/4/88 committed suicide on 11/11/16. Crying again and still. Seems like we, the rest of the family Dad, Mom, Sister & Brother see call or send messages & notice :11 minutes all the time. Find coins, mostly dimes & pennies from heaven. Have had TVs, dart board, radio, lights turn on or off. 4 years today. Still so difficult. We were all so close. Not a lot of extended family close by, but some really good to call. We even saw a white beautiful calm dog at a shelter about 3 weeks after Seth passed. My daughter and I cried when we saw it, named Ziggy, just looked in our eyes like an angel. Seth would have picked that name. Dad and I went a week later to see about getting this dog. We were told they never had a dog like that. We went to the pen and said the beautiful white dog that was there – nope, not ever. Call the kids and told them- shocked as we all saw Ziggy. We feel Seth was present & a present. Had to share this- it helps as sometimes people don’t get it.

My brother in law is about to pass, keep seeing 11 11 twice. This tells me I’m in God’s will as I am keeping vigil at my home while my sister is with her husband surrounded by his family
Time and the measurement of time is a human concept. It is easy to count with numbers like 60 or 24, because they share many common divisors, like 2, 3, 4, 6, 12.
In christian countries, the date is based on the born of Jesus, which is also a human concept after all (not Jesus, but the start of counting).
So the only certain point is this whole made up concept is the measurement of year, because it’s based on the Earth getting around the Sun. You can be sure about the point in time where you were born “XY” years ago.
Of course there must be a relative point in time that you can name and call out to tell your birthdate to make many things easier, but that’s the human concept here again, so the part of numerology which is based on the measurement of our time system, seems mostly made up for me.
We can’t accept things and ideas as absolute truth which are based on human made concepts.
When I first met my ex, we connected over our mutual statement of noticing it was 11:11 and to make a wish. This article kinda makes me nervous that I messed up a relationship with my soul mate.
