If souls are eternal, how is it possible for them to be “young,” “mature,” or “old”?
The answer is that souls can’t literally be given an age, however, figuratively we all possess different levels of soulful maturity.
Soulful maturity is basically our ability to connect with the essence of who we are beyond our socially conditioned identities.
While some of us possess a very strong bond with the truth of “us,” others of us are still working on connecting with our essential nature.
This difference in the ability to connect with our Deeper Self is where the terms Infant Soul, Baby Soul, Young Soul, Mature Soul, and Old Soul stem from; all represent different levels and points of our soul’s journey to wholeness – none are “better” or “superior” to the other. Instead, they just represent different layers and stages of awakening.

Dear Luna I’ve this test a few times and got different answers baby soul, young soul, and mature soul. When I did a soul age test on another site I got old soul! What does it mean if I have signs of a few soul ages? I don’t agree with baby soul except for that matches my inner child age being 12. I’ve done a few of these tests as well and got 16 oldest inner child age and tween being 9 to 12 at the youngest inner child age! Does your soul age make a difference to your inner child age?

Thanks for sharing. There’s no real overlap between inner child age and soul age other than perhaps the less integrated the inner child is, the less able we are to fully embody our soul age.
Other sites don’t follow the criteria we did, we’re much more strict in our assessment tests as we care less about making people feel good about being an old soul and more about how accurate the results are and how much work they have ahead.
If anything, the older the soul is, the less they’ll identify with labels like ‘old soul’ as they’ll be able to see how it adds an extra layer of ego to themselves by trying to find a way to stand out and separate themselves from others. It’s the paradox of that particular concept :).

More because i feel that i am on a twinflame journey.
all of the stages are familiar or the stages i have been through already.
I think we are in between stages from 5 and 6.
i have never experienced so much turmoil and pain and confusion.
Everything i say and do seems wrong and perceived differently by him.
i hope we make it through these stages.

I have always liked taking these kinds of tests because I really like to dig deep into my life, I think I will start to use this website a little bit more. Also, I found out that I’m an old soul, which sounds special.
