If souls are eternal, how is it possible for them to be “young,” “mature,” or “old”?
The answer is that souls can’t literally be given an age, however, figuratively we all possess different levels of soulful maturity.
Soulful maturity is basically our ability to connect with the essence of who we are beyond our socially conditioned identities.
While some of us possess a very strong bond with the truth of “us,” others of us are still working on connecting with our essential nature.
This difference in the ability to connect with our Deeper Self is where the terms Infant Soul, Baby Soul, Young Soul, Mature Soul, and Old Soul stem from; all represent different levels and points of our soul’s journey to wholeness – none are “better” or “superior” to the other. Instead, they just represent different layers and stages of awakening.

I got an old soul.
old soul i am like 350 and I’ve seen things I cannot explain like the shadows in my aunts basement and the time I was in a grave yard an felt really weird and my family agrees I am a old soul but that does not explain the experiences I’ve had. I am still pretty young so what’s up with that.
I am supposed to be an old soul but I don’t feel ready to wind down. If anything I want to live fully an do things I feel I’ve missed out on.
My results said I am a mature soul. Psychics always say I am a mature soul-however, they also say I am a mature soul because I went to a psychic. COME ON. I am somehow manifesting as an infant soul in my day to day life. Not sure if it is because of trauma. Either way, I do not feel like an old soul. I feel confused, out of orbit, and like I do not belong at all. This all feels very unnatural to me, and makes no sense. If I am an old soul, I am senile to the point of either ceasing to exist, or being re-birthed again as a soul. Maybe “old souls” are like phoenixes. Not sure. :/
I don’t think this test is accurate enough. The answer I got did not fit what I felt I really was.
Did the test a few times, just for the fun of it. Changed a bit between answers within my personal truth. The answer is still the same though.
I might have to read the old soul book. Have been interested in that for a while. But i am still struggling with the difference of language.
